Enterprise Mobility team members participated in the Corner Kick Community Grants initiative by sharing photos of themselves celebrating football this summer.
As part of the #OnEveryCorner program during football's biggest global tournament, Enterprise Mobility gave team members a unique opportunity to turn exciting moments on the pitch into meaningful support for their communities through the Corner Kick Community Grants initiative.
For every qualifying corner kick goal scored during the tournament, Enterprise Mobility committed to awarding grants of up to $25,000 to select nonprofit organizations – with team members in the driver’s seat. Randomly selected winners, who participated by sharing photos of themselves celebrating football, directed the funds to the charity of their choice.
“This initiative was a great example of how a shared passion can create positive change far beyond the game itself," said Carolyn Kindle, Enterprise Mobility Foundation President. “While the tournament may be over, the impact of these donations will continue to be felt for years to come.”
In total, the 45 team members chosen helped direct $405,000 in grants to 30 nonprofit organizations across North America and Europe.
Notable grant recipients included Baltimore Hunger Project ($40,000); Fisher House Foundation ($30,000); local United Way chapters ($30,000); and The Girls’ Network, Fundación Generali The Human Safety Net España, FoodCloud, Children for a Better World, Sport dans la Ville and Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta ($25,000 each).
Beyond this initiative, Enterprise Mobility also supports its communities by responding to natural disasters and helping address challenges, such as hunger and social inequity, through partnerships, a grants program and team member giving.
To date, Enterprise Mobility, through its operating groups and the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, has contributed more than half a billion dollars to charitable organizations worldwide.
